The Brass Boot

The owners of this 1,800-acre property in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains were looking for the ultimate western entertainment retreat. The elevated Western feel of the space is created by the juxtaposition of rustic and luxurious materials. Reclaimed barnwood, cowhide and steel are complemented with opulent materials such as white plaster walls, custom chandeliers and brass accents.

To break up the spacious entertainment room, a three-sided steel and stone fireplace was positioned in the center of the room to define multiple spaces while preserving the open floor plan. The U-shaped bar is a dream with custom western leather belts on the bar face and gorgeous copper countertops above.

The smallest details were thoughtfully designed, including the unique footrail with copper accents, the shelves lit from below to illuminate the liquor, and an eye-catching antique mirror backsplash accenting the bar. The custom floating metal canopy above the space provides both storage for glasses and visual interest pulling the eye up to the voluminous ceilings.

Just beyond the bar are two Western-inspired custom doors that open up to the pavilion, activity lawn and oversized fire pit. With plenty of space to play, drink and visit, this entertainment room does it all.
