This island-inspired home’s lanai wraps around the courtyard’s pool. It includes built-in retractable screens, summer kitchen, flooring detail at the front door proper, seating area next to a wall fountain, pool bath, and an outdoor living room with TV and fireplace.
The home’s front door proper opens into the lanai, as do the home’s lower level living areas and the entrance to the guest suite. The tile and countertop/backsplash selections were chosen to complement and mimic the look of water.

From the Judges | We love the dog sculpture toward the end of the pool—the designers used a point of whimsy and took it to the next level. All of the adjacent spaces interact well with the central pool.
