Residence 8 is a 2014 Green Awards Honorable Mention for Single-Family: Production. Located in Denver, Colorado and submitted by Brookfield Homes, this wood-framed single-family residence boasts a HERS rating of 29 without sacrificing comfort of the home’s occupants or the happiness of their wallets (annual energy costs are estimated at approximately $900).
