SummerHouse is a 35-unit community of flats over a podium that was built on a steeply sloping site, from a street down to a lagoon, with the street frontage resembling single-family homes. The community attracts move-up and second-home purchasers seeking coastal living, within walking distance to the nearby village of Carlsbad. Community amenities include a pool, spa and fitness facilities. Each building has an elevator that services one or two units per floor as the units step down the slope in four levels.
