Located a half-mile from a light rail station, the site sits in the middle of a vibrant neighborhood called The Arts District on 2.5 acres that were home to a church constructed in 1962. The developer repurposed the church as a co-working space and redeveloped a vacant field, a parking lot,and a decaying building.

The three-story urban homes created a unique sense of place by combining craftsman and contemporary styling with mid-century modern influences complementing the diverse houses in the neighborhood and the preserved church. The design team advanced the architectural dialogue by creating custom steel balconies with railings inspired by the Mondrian pattern of the church windows, modern brick patterns, craftsman materials, and utilized some similar roof forms as the church.

The developer invested in the common areas, heavily landscaping each yard, and invested in public art in the form of a mural facing the common area and a monument holding the original church bell. The development broke ground in April 2019 and closed on the last home in October 2020. Total sales exceeded project projections by $600,000.
