He is an active supporter of HomeAid and editorial director of two best-selling books on residential architecture, “Pure California” and “Tuscan and Andalusian Reflections.”
Carl Lagoni’s passion for meeting the challenges of clients bring is exemplified by innovative design concepts and unparalleled service. He has set the standard for professionalism and integrity in the field of residential architecture. In addition, Lagoni fine tunes and refines many of Bassenian Lagoni Architects’ award-winning designs. His keen eye for detail and marketability helps garner the firm an unprecedented number of industry awards.

Sanford Steinberg’s commitment to the Best in American Living Awards program and to NAHB is immense. Steinberg’s firm, Steinberg Dickey Collaborative, LLP, has gained broad influence and prominence with more than 150 development companies. His firm was recently named Multifamily Industry Pioneers by NAHB for being the first to certify a large-scale luxury multifamily community under the National Green Building Standard.
Michael Woodley, Class of 2022
Michael L. Woodley, AIA, is president of Woodley Architectural Group, Inc., with offices in Scottsdale, Ariz., Southern California and Denver. Michael has more than 30 years of experience in a wide variety of housing types. His work spans high-density, multistory to high-end custom homes.
Woodley Architectural Group is working with some of the most respected and successful builders across the United States. Woodley’s hands-on approach and interactive design charrette process have established him as a highly successful, innovative architect, sought out by a wide variety of home builders across the nation and abroad. Woodley personally leads his team with a passion for design that is a key element in the reputation and success of the Woodley Architectural Group. His passion, retail approach to housing, and sensitivity to project budget have been instrumental in winning widespread industry recognition.
Woodley is a graduate from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo and is registered in California, Colorado, Arizona, Hawaii, Illinois, New Mexico and Nevada. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the California Building Industry Association (BIA) and NAHB. Woodley has been a featured speaker at AIA, NAHB and PCBC functions. He has also judged major design competitions throughout the country.
