Have you been waiting all year to peak at our BALA winners? In less than one week – Wednesday, January 22 – the next class of winners will be unveiled during the Best in American Living Awards Ceremony at the 2020 International Builders’ Show. But winners aren’t just at the ceremony – you can find them in a few other places at the show:
Design Central Winners Gallery
Open 7:30 am – 5:30 pm Tuesday and Wednesday and 7:30 am – 2:00 pm Thursday | South 224
The Design Central, located in South 224, is a multi-purpose space with education, networking events, and plan reviews happening all day, every day at the show. The Central is also home to the BALA Winners Gallery (seen above) which features the new class of winners, project teams, and photos. The Central and Gallery are open 7:30 am Tuesday through Thursday, and all you need is an expo pass to enter.
Talking Trends with the BALA Judges
Wednesday, January 22 | 12:30 – 1:00 PM | South 224
On Wednesday in Design Central, join BALA Subcommittee and Judging Vice Chair David O’Sullivan as he leads a peer-to-peer discussion on national and regional trends based on this year’s outstanding crop of BALA winners. Discuss overall style trends, like transitional contemporary, 2020’s most popular finishes and trendy design details that will help you lead the pack. Audience participation is highly encouraged—make the most of your time with the pros and your peers (hint: your peers are pros, too!). Want to be considered for a future BALA Award? David will also be available to answer questions about what makes for an award-winning BALA submission for 2020.

Join us at the building industry’s premier residential design awards ceremony, where this year’s most creative and talented home and community designs are honored. The Best in American Living™ Awards spotlight professionals who set their product apart and hit the right mark with today’s highly educated and discerning home buyers.
Tickets are required for this event. $100 per ticket, includes a three-course meal, two drink tickets and a champagne toast to celebrate the winners.
