The ceilings at Two Creeks are a journey that take one from room to room. The attention to detail is persistent, even in the transitional vestibule, where the length of the barreled ceilings and wooden panels draw one into the great room to find cavernous ceilings adorned by chandeliers, intricate woodworking, curves, and beams.

There was no simple path to arrive at the stained glass skylight. A solution to what little natural light the lower level had to offer, the domed light source remains hidden behind what is now a permanent art installation. The mahogany ceiling of the dining room, where craftsmanship reinforces the radius of the beautiful round table, gives the illusion of being in a round room. The foresight of design is evident even in simple moments, such as the sitting area of the primary bedroom, where the concept of a vault was inverted and the miters taper downward. The use of curve/countercurve is a subtle nod from room to room, where the bespoke wooden paneling is a constant motif and a nod to the rustic classicism of the Two Creeks design.

From the Judges
Bless the carpenter. The curved wood ceilings are high-quality craftsmanship and are very successful. They create visual interest and add warmth.
