Residences by Armani/Casa

Featuring designs from fashion icon Giorgio Armani, architecture from César Pelli, and landscaping by Enzo Enea, the 56-story Residences by Armani/Casa (RBAC) is a once-in-a-lifetime collaboration. Every facet of the interior is uncompromisingly crafted by Armani, who required final right of refusal on all designs in the 308-unit project. If not deemed perfect, anything — from the custom-made slabs of Siena silver travertine to the lobby’s million-dollar gold sofa — had to be reconstructed or completely replaced.

The exterior employs the architectural feats that led Pelli to be one of the world’s most prolific skyscraper designers. The mirror-like tower is reminiscent of a  glass palace,  wrapped in two intertwined, sail-like shapes that billow and expand as they rise.  The structure provides ocean views; each residence frames the sky with floor-to-ceiling windows. Outside, the jungle-inspired landscaping embraces the tropical locale.
