The Orrington residence is where rich quality and craftmanship bring design to life. A home to share with family and friends, carefully designed spaces capture ocean views throughout the home and provide ample places to display artwork and unique furniture pieces.

From the entry sequence with cedar beams to natural stone carrying from outside through the home, the textures and warmth are bold and soothing. Additionally, spaces are designed to provide entertainment for everyone.

The living spaces are separated by a central sunken courtyard displaying a custom designed sculptural piece. The lower level features a prime location for the after-dinner crowd, game table, lounge, bar, and a wine lovers’ backdrop of bottles, and plenty of guest rooms for friends and family.

From the Judges
This design showcases a creative way to maximize a tight lot that requires a one-story home and all the livability. It is well planned out. There are so many interesting spaces, from the entry experience to the center courtyard to the infinity pool off the primary bedroom.
