These Shreveport, La., home owners designed a Low Country Coastal style home that allows them to age-in-place within the traditional neighborhood development of Provenance. The home faces Magnolia Park, a new interior park by community nature trails.

The home owners downsized from a grand three-story home to this manageable house to host their kids and grandchildren without sacrificing charm and convenience by using built-ins and hidden storage solutions. The first floor features three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, an open kitchen and dining room, great room, court porch and three-car garage totaling 2,235 square feet. The multifunctioning court porch is a grilling porch, sunroom, entertainment overflow area and cigar lounge. Special attention was placed on the air conditioning, ventilation and window function in this one-of-a-kind-space!
