A wall of windows floods the room with natural light and frames views of the landscape and large lazy pool. With the emphasis put on natural light, expansive windows were strategically placed to maximize the sunlight provided throughout the day.
The oversized island increases the workspace for the owners and accommodates more seating for guests. Custom cabinets and the adjacent walk-in pantry provide ample storage, eliminating the need for extensive traditional upper cabinets. High-end appliances include a gas cooktop on the island, a steam oven, an electric oven, two refrigerators, a freezer, a dishwasher, and a built-in microwave and coffee maker. A custom-made banquette table and booth were designed to fit seamlessly in the niche, creating a breakfast area with ample room for people to sit and enjoy, looking out to the pool, outdoor living, and lush landscaping area. This gourmet kitchen is complete with custom cabinets and granite countertops. Clean lines can be found throughout the kitchen in the wood floors, cabinetry, appliances, and the exposed beams in the ceiling. The archway to the living room frames the seating area. The formal dining room is accessible through the butler’s closet.
