Designers. Builders. Founders. The Best in American Living Awards (BALA) Hall of Fame program was established in 2008 to honor housing industry thought leaders who have significantly influenced the residential design and construction field. Our day-to-day experience would not be the same if these individuals and firms had not envisioned and executed the design improvements we have enjoyed over the last 40 plus years.
Since its founding 15 years ago, the BALA Hall of Fame has inducted 48 visionaries who participated in the creation of BALA, developed new home design concepts or new types of site development, promoted innovations in products and interior design, or otherwise pushed the boundaries of residential design and changed the trajectory of housing. Over the next several months, these innovative and well-respected leaders will be remembered for their contributions in advocacy, innovation, creativity and residential design excellence, as well as their well-earned places in the Hall of Fame. Their dedication to BALA and the built environment and their commitment to new ideas and quality stand the test of time.
