This cottage is truly a little gem. A neutral color palette and warm accents give way to a bright and airy essence throughout. Custom millwork and trim at the stair create an invitation to ascend to the second floor. A custom-built reclaimed wood barn door at the top of the stair gives privacy to the loft, which boasts a cathedral ceiling with a pair of bunk beds.
The meticulously crafted built-in bunk beds frame an oversized window that offers unobstructed views of the lake. Below the window is a built-in bench complete with cushions and concealed storage. Niches in the wall at the bunks make for a convenient nightstand with charging capabilities. The lakeside wall is trimmed out with a combination of shiplap and wainscotting to give this cozy loft space a completely custom feel.
