These homes were to be the only attached housing within the prestigious master planned community of Seven Desert Mountain. The challenge was they had to live and feel like a single-family detached home while embodying all the luxurious features of the larger homes in the community. Each home opens up to reveal a large great room, gourmet kitchen, and dining room overlooking the beautiful fairways.
The second-floor homes feature a grand entry experience with private elevator and maintain a direct access garage. A retreat with wine room can also be optioned for an additional bedroom, if preferred.
Indoor/outdoor experiences are integrated throughout the home: The great room is connected to an oversized private patio with outdoor fireplace. The owners’ suite features a fairway view, and each secondary suite has its own private outdoor deck. The design strategies for this project reflected a fundamental respect for the living desert. The color palette, exterior lighting that helps alleviate light pollution, and massing served to blend into natural landscaping and careful attention was paid not to disturb the saguaro cacti.
