Genuario—Kitchen Remodel

The goal of this remodel was to increase the size of a small, dated kitchen and make it both functional and beautiful. The kitchen is open to the family room, kitchen nook, and dining room, so the design style needed to flow seamlessly. Taking the wall cabinets to the ceiling, eliminating the butler’s pantry, and keeping the perimeter cabinets and tile light made the kitchen feel bigger. The original custom hood was not fabricated correctly, so trim was added and modified to fit perfectly, adding that extra wow factor. More bling was added via the light fixtures, which nicely contrast with the heavy rustic wood floors, warm colors, and a neutral color palette.
