Columbia Heights Village

The purpose of the renovation was to deliver high-quality, supportive spaces that are outfitted to empower residents to collaborate constructively amongst themselves and with staff. The new lobby and 4,300-square-foot community room rival market-rate properties and have become the heart of the community, serving 406 units in 31 buildings. Renovations included upgrades to the property’s HVAC and security systems as well as revitalized office space for CRC’s nonprofit partner, Change All Souls Housing Corporation. The expansive community room features a kitchen, common area, library lounge, study rooms, and public computers that are available for web browsing or job preparation.
