The Ridge—an 8-story, 1960s glass box—consisted of small apartments, outdated amenity spaces, inadequate parking, and skyrocketing energy bills. The Summit, a new 11-story tower with amenities and underground parking, provides 65 new, larger apartments and is a reinvention of The Ridge with greater wellness space. Wellness relates to everything offered, including food services, activity programs, community connections, and creative endeavors. The “Riverwalk” incorporates biophilic deign principles, including natural daylight and patterns, places of refuge, connection to views, and personal interaction with natural elements. A new, extended first floor functions as a central hub that can be used by residents and visitors for concerts, dining, art, exercise, and parties.
