The Huntington—Kitchen

The goal was to great a sophisticated, bright, fresh kitchen in a raised river cottage. The exterior is colorful and unique, while the interior provides a relaxed, modern retreat. The classic white kitchen contributes to the classic yet modern feel. White cabinets were stacked to the ceiling, with honed black granite and carrara marble on the perimeter and island, respectively. This combination helped to convey the traditional nature of the home. Key features include a Delta Victorian faucet; double-bowl, stainless, undermount sink; Merillat cabinets stacked to the ceiling, with custom molding and hardware; glass cabinets surrounding the kitchen window; light rails; deluxe construction cabinets; marble subway tile kitchen backsplash; and pendant lighting over the island.
