Located in Chicago’s South Loop on a tight, urban site, the building abuts the elevated train tracks and is proximate to historic Grant Park. The second-level amenity floor features a large outdoor terrace that activates the street, while the visual connection to the street energizes interior social spaces. The economically sized residences have a loft-like aesthetic, with minimal finishes and floor-to-ceiling glass that maximize daylighting and views. Building along the elevated tracks required special acoustical consideration to mitigate sound from the train and a well-planned approach to construction staging and building. The bedroom/bathroom parity in all units allows the building to correlate with the national co-living trend.
