This home is for empty nesters who want to entertain on a large or small scale. Various case studies allowed the designers to hone in on elegant universal design solutions. Entering from the garage leads owners through the pantry and “Messy Kitchen” for an intuitive and convenient daily routine. A large island is the focal point of the home, which everyday life revolves around, while support spaces include a beverage center, outdoor kitchen, pantry, Messy Kitchen, and wine display. Pocket glass doors transition to the outdoor kitchen and living area, functioning as a seamless extension of the main kitchen and living space.
