The Spa-Like Owner Suite at Tonal Harmony

The front portion of the house, including the primary bedroom wing, is subterranean. This nature of the home provides interior grandeur for guests, but offers a welcoming and humble approach, fully satisfying the client requests.

The bedroom is accessed first by passing through a wood-wrapped door and then proceeding down a hallway behind the great room fireplace. The journey to this private space is elegant and detailed. A two-sided stone-and-steel fireplace bisects glass planes to unite indoors and outdoors, while glass walls provide unobstructed views of mountain views and outdoor living spaces. Clerestory windows above the bed showcase distant mountains and also reveal the subterranean nature of the room. The view through the bathroom reveals a secret outdoor shower. Custom maple cabinetry is topped with Vadara quartz and interlocking stone. An elegant freestanding tub sits in a glass-enclosed space and is warmed by the two-sided fireplace it shares with the bedroom. The suite opens to outdoor spaces, including an elevated lap pool, lower-level play pool, and sunken firepit with built-in seating.
