Design Statement | The spacious master bath features a floor-to-ceiling glass wall that divides the wet room from the vanity. A mix of marble and porcelain tiles begin at floor level and work their way up to the ceiling; sleek, contemporary tiles surround the wet space. A floating vanity with dual sinks features sleek quartz countertops, soft-close doors, and under mount lighting.

Judges’ Comments | This space is so beautiful and quiet, and is “super-functional.” All the finishes are well coordinated and the light from the high windows works well. The closets is laid out nicely. The judges praised the tile and the gold touches.

Design Statement | This custom master suite was inspired by breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain ranges and complete solitude. The desert modern design provides an extremely comfortable living experience and large spacious floor plan, containing a master bedroom, double-vanity bathroom, closet, exercise room, and two exterior patios. Floor-to-ceiling windows maximize natural light and preserve views, while earthy materials and sleek lines are used to blend with its context.

Judges’ Comments | The curved soffit and wood ceiling are interesting. The judges praised the mirrors between the views and how the designer handled the countertops with waterfall edges.
