With amenities including vast windows, spiral staircase, and a hearth room with ski lockers, a bath and steam room, you might not want to venture outside of Park City, Utah’s Goss Residence, the Best in American Living Awards 2014 Silver Award winner for “One-of-a-Kind Home Over 6,501 Square Feet.”
But it’s the outside that inspired this ski-in, ski-out masterpiece of modern mountain architecture, nestled in the natural beauty and ski runs of the Wasatch Range.
Built by Magleby Construction and conceived by Upwall Design, Goss reflects Upwall’s philosophy that “our expansion into the wild should reflect and complement the existing beauty of nature.”
Built in only 14 months, the design is contemporary, yet blends with its natural surroundings using arched fireplace chases, roof lines and accents.
