NAHB Hosting Two Free Webinars on the Future of Housing After COVID-19

Two webinars from NAHB Education – on May 21 and June 3 – will explore different aspects of home building and the housing industry as the world adjusts to a new reality in the wake of COVID-19. Both are free to NAHB members.

Design Trends for 2020 & the COVID-19 Impact

On Thursday, May 21, NAHB’s Design Committee will discuss current design trends and how home design could change as a result of COVID-19. The webinar, Design Trends for 2020 & the COVID-19 Impact, is scheduled for 2-3 p.m. ET.

Industry-leading home designers will share the top design trends in 2020 and how they are expected to evolve and change as a result of COVID-19. Participants will see a comprehensive collection of design ideas, including architectural features, colors, materials, design details and more.

Registration is open until 3 p.m. ET on Wednesday, May 20. The webinar is free for NAHB members and $44.95 for non-members. Webinar participants can earn one hour of continuing education credits for the following designations: HCCP, CAPS, CGA, CGB, CGP, CGR, CMP, CSP, GMB, GMR, Master CGP, Master CSP and MIRM.

COVID-19 Compliance & Operational Challenges in Multifamily Property Management

On Wednesday, June 3, the webinar COVID-19 Compliance & Operational Challenges in Multifamily Property Management will highlight best practices in property management and compliance and provide action plans for the COVID-19 crisis.

The webinar, scheduled for 2-3 p.m. ET, will cover a range of topics, including:

  • Federal and state guidance—what has been addressed and what has not
  • Income calculation guidance in the CARES Act
  • Operational impacts and considerations during the pandemic and planning for potential future outbreaks
