Design Statement | Provenance is a traditional neighborhood development within a village setting that blends nearby shops, restaurants, and services with beautiful green areas. Provenance is the first neighborhood and community of its kind in the Shreveport / Bossier City area.

One of the many things that make Provenance special is the visual aesthetic of the community. The most beautiful tracts of land have been preserved as natural parks and common spaces. Each property is unique, yet contributes to the cohesive look of the neighborhood.

Judges’ Comments | The preservation of existing trees makes the neighborhood look established. It has good segmentation of housing types in a good community. Judges said it fits the Louisiana vernacular and praised the interiors.

Design Statement |The 3,800-acre master-planned community blends residential, commercial, and recreational elements into a vibrant new city. Located in central Palm Beach County, Westlake includes multiple neighborhoods with single-family homes that feature open floor plans, indoor-outdoor living spaces, the latest technologies, and a host of premium included features.

Minto identified the need for attainable housing and designed the single-family homes in Westlake to be priced from the high $200s to the $500s, considered affordable by local standards and compared to the competition. The $15 million residents-only Westlake Adventure Park amenities complex includes a resort-style lagoon pool, tower waterslide, splash pad, poolside concessions, and bocce ball courts.  Next door is a concert pavilion and expansive recreational lawn for concerts and events with shade pavilions, grills, and picnic area, plus an adventure playground and BMX pump park.

Judges’ Comments | The judges praised the great community amenities and noted the resort-like pool and the BMX course in the park.
