Design & Construction Week Opening Ceremonies, feat. Alex Rodriquez

Tuesday, January 21 | 8:00 – 9:00 AM | Westgate, Lobby Level, Paradise Event Center

Baseball legend-turned-business powerhouse Alex Rodriguez will headline the Design & Construction Week® Opening Ceremonies. Click here for full details.

Over the course of his iconic baseball career – a 3-time MVP, 14-time all-star and a 2009 World Series Champion with the New York Yankees – Mr. Rodriguez also built a tremendously successful investment firm. As founder and Chief Executive Officer of A-Rod Corp, he created a fully-integrated real estate investment and development firm, starting with the purchase of a single duplex in 2003 and subsequently broadening to a wider array of industries, including sports and wellness, media, and entertainment. This past year, he launched “The Corp,” a podcast with Barstool Sports’ Dan Katz that interviews industry leaders, sports legends and entrepreneurs, and which debuted as the number 1 podcast in America.

Mr. Rodriguez will be stepping in for Earvin “Magic” Johnson, who regretfully had to withdraw from the DCW Opening Ceremonies due to the timing of the memorial in New York City for former NBA commissioner David Stern, where he will be delivering a eulogy.
