Design Statement | This whole-house renovation involved a kitchen, bathroom and dining room remodel and a guest bathroom addition. The clients, who are in their 60s, wanted to make sure they could grow old in their home and not have to remodel again. The team designed an ADA-compliant bathroom and chic and modern kitchen with lower storage cabinets that allows a person with a handicap to be independent.
Balancing the wish lists of the clients within the budget was a challenge. One wanted a very colorful space accentuated by a medium-dark color scheme, while the other wanted a white space. The team created a modern design both clients loved, while making it environmentally friendly and cost effective.
