Encore at FishHawk Ranch is a new approach to lifestyle-driven home design specifically for buyers 55-years and older. The first age-qualified development within an established, multi-generational community, Encore is an intimate neighborhood that meets the growing needs of Baby Boomers, a driving force in real estate. Baby Boomers are downsizing, opting for new construction, single-family homes in quality neighborhoods, close to employment centers, shopping, and healthcare.
Encore at FishHawk Ranch appeals to homebuyers seeking a strong sense of community, or who want to be close to children and grandchildren while enjoying the independent lifestyle they’ve become accustomed to in a home of their own. Before building, David Weekley Homes and Newland Communities conducted extensive research on the atmosphere and amenities active and independent 55+ adults wanted in a new community. Feedback shaped the architecture, floor plans, and home maintenance. Research made clear homebuyers wanted regular, pre-scheduled activities within their neighborhood. A full-time lifestyle director was hired to plan and implement extensive calendar of events for residents, catered to their interests.
Homes feature single-level floor plans, expanded living areas, and kitchens for entertaining. Hallways and doorways are widened just slightly and bathroom showers are generous to help ensure owners can age in place. Homeowners are able to customize their home with countertops, cabinets, and other fixtures indoors; fire pits, entertaining kitchens, gardens and pools outdoors. Homes are nearly maintenance-free and lawn service is included.
Encore features the 5,000-square-foot Oasis Club, available for the exclusive use of Encore residents. The Club features a resort-style pool, indoor and outdoor entertaining spaces, state of the art fitness center with group exercise rooms, business center and kitchen. Residents can also utilize several other amenities that are open to the entire FishHawk Ranch community.
