Ocean 6 received a 2017 Best in American Living Platinum award for Kitchen and a Gold award for Master Suite.

The Master Suite features a neutral and serene color pallet which gives it a resort like feel. The freestanding L-shaped onyx and wood ethanol fireplace creates a separation from the bedroom and sitting room and provide a hidden morning bar for the homeowner. A back-lit coffer ceiling reflects the glistening mica wallcovering on the ceiling lid and ocean-like fabric light fixtures are strategically placed on the ceiling.

His bath features sliding wood doors which open into the bedroom, allowing privacy when needed but still takes advantage of the ocean view. Glass toilet and shower enclosures make his bath appear larger and the wood slat detail creates a little added privacy. Her Master bath takes full advantage of the ocean views with floor to ceiling windows featured on the east elevation. Light airy sheers drape the window wall for added privacy and feature floating stained wood lacquer vanities with a stone waterfall countertop.

Decorative glass pendants and floating mirrors complete the look. The custom closet features a mix of stained lacquered wood and painted cabinets and is fully open to the bath. The custom island with chrome and glass display shelves separate the two spaces.

This clean modern kitchen features angled white lacquered cabinets with a hidden hood. Decorative art lights are positioned above the upper cabinets to give them additional accent lighting. Custom stone slab drawer fronts with finger pulls are used to create a seamless look. The island features an ocean blue recycled glass countertop with a stained, living wood countertop to designate the bar area, while stained wood flooring is inset in the limestone to give an asymmetrical flooring element to the island. Backlit floating wood shelves lead your eye to the butler’s pantry and a custom wood and metal surround at the floor to ceiling window creates an art sculpture moment in the kitchen. The stained wood plank ceiling provides the much needed warmth to balance out this sleek white kitchen.
