Home of the Week: Howe Residence

Located on a highly desirable block in the east Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, this home’s façade was designed to have an elegant presentation to the street.

Due to the allowable density of the site and the relatively narrow lot, the home is designed with five floor levels accessible by elevator.

The indoor-outdoor connections are maximized on several levels to create a strong sense of flow towards the outdoors.

The third-floor level includes a library and a penthouse space, set up with surround system, built-in cabinetry and wet bar that open onto an outdoor deck that has a wood-burning fireplace.

The top roof level hosts a deck with an extraordinary view of the downtown Chicago skyline. Read more and visit the photo gallery.
