The homeowners originally had two different ideas when it came to what they wanted their home to look like. The husband is a log home guy and his wife is more into the craftsman look so in the beginning they had a big difference of opinion. But Blue Ridge Log Cabins was able to help them come to the perfect resolution; they designed a mountain harmonious home which could be constructed of log as well as cedar shake, stone, and board and batten.
The end result turned out to be a beautiful, rustic and elegant compromise. Not only was the architectural design of the house important but the location of their home had so much more meaning than a lot number.
