The owners of this modern timber frame home were looking to build in Park City to be near their friends and the amazing activities the area provides. The Park City area has embraced the mountain modern architectural style and this was exactly the style these clients were looking for in their ski-in ski-out home. The exterior, showcasing multiple timber frame trusses, stone and cedar siding flows with the mountain side, fitting into the environment perfectly. The interior mixes rustic accents with clean lines and minimalist decor. It is a truly modern timber home. The overhangs, supported by timber trusses mimic the peaks of the nearby mountain ranges. They also provide shade and privacy to the interior spaces. A special modern truss style was specifically designed to carry the interior structure.
