The 2017 Jerry Rouleau Awards for Excellence in Marketing and Home Design, presented by the Building Systems Councils and the Log and Timber Homes Council was presented to Snake River Cabin for Modular/Panelized Home Design – Less than 2,000 SF.
The Snake River Cabin was designed with the intent to create an open and bright living space utilizing a shed roof design with tall exterior walls and expansive glass for a spectacular view of the outdoors from one end of the cabin to the other. Many high-end amenities were used to create a luxurious feel such as Andersen windows, cove heating, rough-sawn timber interior accent walls, trim and beams, black granite countertops, and solid wood passage doors. Utilizing modular construction and several on-site finishes, the project came in well below budget. Champion’s ability to think outside the box continues to drive innovative solutions to the construction industry. “I am very happy to have worked with Champion Homes to design and build this mountain modern modular cabin for my short-term rental property in downtown Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The open and light-filled design gives the cabin a sense of space much larger than its actual size. Quality finishes and the expansive deck combine to offer a legitimately luxury home with a fabulous outdoor living area. Champion came in well below other builders from a pricing perspective and completed the cabin ahead of schedule. The cabin is already overachieving vacation rental revenue expectations and we look forward to working with Champion on our next project!” Tom Hendrick – JSK Holdings
