Home of the Week: Truewind

Huntington Beach, Calif.’s Truewind, designed in the California Cottage vernacular, is on an infill site that previously housed a school. It was a 2015 Best in American Living Gold Award winner for detached home, 3001-3500 square feet. It’s also our Home of the Week!

truewind2Truewind’s architectural details and varied materials combine to create an elevation that is both timeless and contemporary.

truewind3The house lives large, with multiple family gathering spaces inside and outside and a private guest bedroom/bath suite away from the rest of the living area.

truewind4Enhanced design features, such as the eating area off the kitchen island, continued cabinets in the dining area, and push-back glass sliders between the great room and the covered outdoor area, entice buyers in a community with little new home inventory.
